Our Chase The Ace draw will be taking a holiday in 2022. We expect to be back at the end of January in 2023.

November 16th, 2021 - Our Third Winner for 2021
We had our third, and final jackpot winner for 2021. Marie Wasyluk was the weekly winner, receiving $115, and she also found the Ace Of Spades, which was worth $2,570!! Congratulations Marie!!

August 10th, 2021 - Our Second Winner Of The 2021 Season!
On Tuesday, Aug 10th, with 48 cards left on the table, Wayne Madigan was able to find the Ace Of Spades!
Adding to his weekly total of $110, Wayne received an additional $2,853.50 in the form of a cheque, for finding the Ace.

The Chase The Ace draw will continue, with a starting jackpot of $500, until the Ace is found once more, or until the final draw on December 14th, whichever comes first.
July 6th, 2021 - Our First Winner Of The 2021 Season!
On July 6th, Dale Johnston was the lucky weekly winner, and had a chance to find the Ace Of Spades among 33 cards spread out on the table. He found it!! And picked up the accumulated jackpot of $6,033.50, to add to his winnings!

The jackpot will reset, and a brand new deck of cards will be in use for the rest of the season.

February 10, 2021 - Chase The Ace 2021 starts in February

Chase The Ace will be returning Tuesday, February 23rd, 7:00PM at Cooperative place. Tickets will go on sale locally, as well as online, beginning this week. Tickets are $5, and are available at Golden Scissors (Nancy), and the Wynyard Advance.
The draw site remains under the Provincial Covid 19 protocol, and the draws will take place in the lobby area. The canteen is closed for the season, so food and drinks are unavailable, at this time.
If you are interested in purchasing your tickets online, you can click on the link below, and it will take you to the registration page. Once you register, you can purchase your tickets through InterAc E-Transfer, by sending payment to the email address provided, from your bank. There are no passwords required for E-Transfers.

December 15, 2020 - We Have Another Winner!
On Tuesday, December 15th, we conducted our final draw for the season. We were down to 26 cards to begin the evening, and we got down to the final six (6) cards, before the Ace Of Spades was found.
Congratulations to Taylor Carpenter, who had the first ticket drawn from the drum. Taylor picked up $1,779 for the weekly cash prize, but his proxy was unable to find the Ace for him.
Our Ace winner was Jim Anderson, as his proxy was able to find the Ace with 6 cards remaining. Jim won the accumulated jackpot of $12,468.50

Thanks to everyone who has supported our raffle this season, it's made a huge difference in our fundraising efforts. We hope to be back in the 2021 season, but we will be awaiting guidance from the authorities, before we determine our next course of action.

June 11, 2020 - We Have A Winner!
On Tuesday, June 9th, Gloria Laplante had her name drawn as the weekly prize winner. Gloria received $124 for the win. While she was on the phone, her Charity Appointed Proxy went to the card table, and from a group of 41 cards, picked the Ace Of Spades! The Ace was worth $4,877, to give Gloria a combined payout of $5,001!! Congratulations Gloria, on being our first 2020 Ace winner!
The jackpot resets, and will be a minimum of $2,000 for the June 16th draw, and there will be a new deck of cards in place. Thank you to all who have participated in our draws so far, and we look forward to your future ticket purchases, as we continue with our quest, to find the Ace Of Spades!

Update: August 28, 2019 - Please be advised that the Chase The Ace draw will held at the Wynyard Golf Club up to, and including the October 8th draw. Beginning Tuesday, October 15th, the draws will be made at Co-operative Place (new arena), until the final draw on Tuesday, December 17th. Draw times will still be at 7:00 PM, each Tuesday, and tickets will be sold at the draw location throughout the week.
Update: April 11, 2019 - The Chase The Ace Raffle will be held at the Wynyard Golf Clubhouse beginning Tuesday, April 16th! You can still purchase your tickets in advance from Golden Scissors (Nancy) or Wynyard Pharmacy (Linda), or at the clubhouse beginning April 15th. Be sure to stop by for our Tuesday night draws, and enjoy the supper specials, as well as a refreshing beverage!
Update: January 14, 2019 - The new Chase The Ace Raffle will begin on Tuesday, January 22nd, 2019, at the Wynyard Curling Club, at 7:00PM. Tickets will be available for purchase at the curling club, and from our ticket sellers. Advance tickets can be purchased at Golden Scissors (Nancy), and at Wynyard Pharmacy (Linda).
Update: December 18, 2018
The final draw of 2018 was held at the Wynyard Curling Club, Tuesday December 18th, with a jackpot of over $4,000 available to the lucky ticket holder. There were 37 cards left in the deck to start the evening, and there were 3 cards left on the table when we had our final jackpot winner. Sheri Johnston had the first ticket drawn, and that gave her the weekly prize of $400. Sheri didn't find the Ace of Spades though, and the draw continued, until someone found the ace. 34 draws later, with 3 cards left, someone found the ace!!
Congratulations to Brandon Hoffman, who took home the jackpot, in the form of a cheque in the amount of $4,135. Brandon is our second jackpot winner of the season, with Merv Hunter being our first, back in August.
Thank you to all of the people who purchased tickets this year, and to our ticket sellers who made it such a huge success. Thanks go out to Nancy Pitzel, Linda Sokul, Angie Madigan, Karen Magnusson, Sheila Popowich, and all the others who sold tickets at Mens and Ladies Nights at the golf club. Chase the Ace Contest Rules

Tickets may only be sold within Saskatchewan, to residents of Saskatchewan..
- Tickets sales are restricted to those 19 years of age and older.
-
A maximum of 50,000 tickets may be sold, with a total prize value of $125,000.
- Every Tuesday evening between 5:30 and 7:00 pm we will sell tickets for the draw that week, at the draw location.
- Buy a Chase the Ace ticket - $5.00 each
- Random ticket draw takes place at 7:00 PM – winner gets 20% of ticket sales from that evening. One winning ticket will be drawn each Tuesday evening.
- Tickets can be purchased up to 1.5 hours before the draw at the draw location. The draw location will be at the Wynyard Golf Club.

· The winning ticket holder’s name will be called out three (3) times, to determine if they are present at the draw location. They will then be contacted by the provided phone number on the ticket.
· Holder of the winning ticket must be present to claim a prize. If the holder of the winning ticket is not present, a Charity Appointed Proxy will be used to complete the draw.
- The designated Charity Appointed Proxies are Dale Johnston, and Nancy Pitzel.
- Distribution of weekly ticket sales: 20% will be awarded to the winning ticket holder. 30% will be added to the growing Jackpot. 50% will go to the Wynyard Golf Club Fundraising Account.
- Draw winner gets chance to win the jackpot by cutting the deck of cards.
- If the Ace of Spades is chosen from the deck of cards, the winner gets the jackpot, which includes the 30% of the night's ticket sales.
- If the Ace of Spades is not drawn, the selected card is destroyed and the 30% goes into the prize pot for the next week’s draw.
- At the end of each week’s ‘cut the deck’ segment, the rest of the deck will be displayed, to show that the Ace Of Spades is still in the deck.
- Contest continues with the same deck of cards until the Ace of Spades is drawn.
- Once the Ace is drawn – a new contest begins. The Jackpot resets to zero, and a new deck of cards will be used.
- Only tickets sold during the current week are eligible for that week’s draw. All previous tickets sold will be destroyed at the conclusion of each weekly draw.
- No limit on the number of tickets that can be purchased for a draw.
- No refunds will be allowed for any tickets purchased.
- No receipts will be given for any tickets purchased.
- IF the winning ticket has more than one name of it, the prize will be awarded to the first person’s name on the Ticket. It is the responsibility of the Ticket Holder to distribute their winnings.
- Wynyard Golf Club staff, Board of Directors, all volunteers and immediate family ARE allowed to purchase Tickets BUT are not permitted to participate as the Ticket Draw Person in that week's draw.
- Volunteers who are assisting directly with the draw, including putting raffle tickets into the draw drum, that evening, are not permitted to purchase tickets for that draw.
- The raffle will continue for one year. The final draw will take place Tuesday, December 14th, 2021, @ 7:00 PM at the Wynyard Golf Club (Co-operative Place).
- Total ticket sales for the duration of The Lottery shall not exceed 50,000 in number. In the event that all 50,000 tickets are sold before the December 14th, 2021 date, the draw will take place the Tuesday that the final ticket is sold, with the Winning Ticket Holder receiving 20% of the weekly sales, and will be given a chance to cut the deck of cards for the Ace Of Spades. IF the ticket holder does not cut the Ace Of Spades, they will keep the 20% of the weekly ticket sales, with the remaining 30% to be added to the Jackpot, and another ticket will be drawn. Tickets will continue to be drawn, until a ticket holder cuts the Ace Of Spades from the deck of cards, who will then receive the Jackpot total that has accumulated to that time, bringing this Chase The Ace event to it’s conclusion.
- Depending on the value of the prize pot, the winner may be required to come to the Wynyard Golf Club or Wynyard Curling Club with ID to claim winnings in the form of a cheque.
- Winners of the weekly 20% will have a cheque processed within the next three business days.(OR receive a cash payout, and sign the receipt book, depending on the amount)
- Winner of the 30% Jackpot will have a cheque processed within the next three business days.
